Privacy Policy

This policy explains how I process personal data submitted through the website maciej-dziagacz.pages.dev.

1. Data Controller

The data controller is Maciej Dziagacz, based in Wrocław, Poland.

2. What data I process

Through the contact form, I may process:

  • name,
  • email address,
  • message content (project details),
  • any other information you voluntarily include.

3. Purpose of processing

Your data is processed solely for the purpose of:

  • replying to your inquiry,
  • handling project-related correspondence,
  • discussing and preparing a potential collaboration.

4. Legal basis

I process your data based on my legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in responding to voluntarily submitted contact inquiries, and — where discussions concern a potential collaboration — on the basis of steps taken prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

5. Who may receive the data

The contact form and website hosting are provided by Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, USA).

According to information published by Netlify:

  • form data is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS / TLS),
  • it is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and encrypted at rest,
  • form submissions are accessible in the Netlify dashboard and can be reviewed, exported, and deleted by me,
  • for spam protection, Netlify may share the sender's IP address and email address with Akismet (Automattic, Inc.),
  • Netlify is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and uses Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as a mechanism for data transfers outside the EEA,
  • Netlify provides a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) incorporated into their terms of service.

6. International data transfers

Netlify is a US-based company. Personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area.

Netlify uses the following safeguards for such transfers:

  • certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF),
  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.

7. Data retention

Form submissions are stored in the Netlify dashboard until manually deleted by me. Copies of messages are kept in my email inbox for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and further correspondence.

I regularly delete outdated submissions. You can request earlier deletion of your data at any time.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access your personal data,
  • rectification,
  • erasure (right to be forgotten),
  • restriction of processing,
  • objection to processing,
  • data portability,
  • lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

9. Cookies and analytics

Based on the current website setup, I do not use cookies, analytics tools, advertising tools, or newsletter services.

10. Changes to this policy
